Another company that is owned and run by several women is Excelerant. Excelerant is a company that helps companies prepare and develop next in line leadership.

We’ve been very very fortunate to have worked with them for a number of years through multiple program that we’ve had, including some staff professional development and some retreats that we’ve done internally. Working with Elise Bouchner and with Jill Meaux in particular as well as a few other folks on their team. …

Excelerant not only prepares that next in line leadership which is something that is critically important, and I think a lot of companies have a difficult time wondering where the next level of leadership is coming from. They facilitate critical meetings and conversations and align their business strategies with their most important asset, and that’s the people. We have a lot of assets within every business, but no business survives without the right people. …

The team partners with company leaders who are looking to develop the people of their business, executive and leadership coaching, they offer leadership training, team development, retreat and meeting facilitation, as I’ve said, they’ve done several times for us, human resources consulting – something that is very critical right now especially as we are coming out of this pandemic, and we’re dealing with kind of a new world in business. How do you deal with people who are, as far as human resources go, dealing with people who are working from home, people who are working from the office, and the various challenges that we are facing.

They are a certified women owned business enterprise by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, and we’re very proud of them and have always enjoyed working with them.

They’ve been great for us and great supporters of our organization.

Millicent:

I know that there is in all of our other segments, most of the time we mention the CEO roundtable program that we host in partnership with LED, and we are extremely fortunate that Excelerant has been a part of that program and has helped facilitate that program over the years, so thank you very much to them for making that happen because this is a huge opportunity that we provide to CEOs of small businesses, and without them, it would not be as successful as it is today.

Troy:

Yes, it’s a critical part of our small business services that we provide and very successful program, and we’re proud to partner with LED and really proud of the work Excelerant has done for us on that.

Millicent:

And it’s exciting because Elise and Jill they have some relationships with us that go back for years and years and years, and its really nice to talk with them and have them help us to continue to improve and grow as organization here, so thank you to Excelerant for everything they’ve done for us.
